Ok, thanks! I have another question... I cut the strings, and I started, and it failed so badly! I messed up the strings getting the knots out. What can I do so I don't mess it up? (I was stressed with 16 strings)

@awesomelgk If you are familiar with alphas and know how to do a color switch, that is how you can new string to this bracelet. If you do not know how to do this, here is how: 1) tape your new string behind your bracelet 2) take the old string and tuck it behind the bracelet 3) begin knotting with your new string like normal. If you need visual instructions, Kinsey B has a video called “how to add more string to a started bracelet”, Masha Knots has a video called “Fixing Bracelet Mistakes”, and Alex’s Innovations has a video called “How to replace broken strings” (even though your string aren’t broken, it’s the same method to replace short strings).

@Jdog12525 thanks, but how do you start 16 strings? I started and got so stressed that I would mess up that I had to stop. Sorry for all the questions

@awesomelgk You say you feel you are going to mess up...why is that? Is it because it’s a hard pattern to follow? How did you start it- with a loop or a shaped start?

@awesomelgk you're doing a normal pattern, right?Knotting row by row can be helpful when trying to keep the strings in order. For the start I recommend to either to a shaped start like a triangle start or taping the strings down in a way that they are in the order you need them to be. If you start out with all the strings in a knot the strings are kinda crammed together which can make the strings get tangled or confused more easily because they are so close together. |

@jdog I just tied a knot to start it. When I started the knots were uneven.

I’m not exactly a newbie as I already had a bb account online, but I just downloaded the app and I’m not sure how to make a bracelet pattern on the app? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me 🙂

A lot of my alpha patterns come out with a stretched out kind if look lengthwise. Is there a way to fix this?

@Euterpe I’m not sure if I understand your question correctly, but maybe you could try pushing up after each row of your alpha with a ruler or some other kind of straight edge. Make sure you also use the flat alpha and straight edges technique. If you want a video about alpha tips and tricks, Masha Knots has one on her YouTube channel.

@oceanknot I have been following marsh knott's videos and my braclets have improved a lot but the image is always slightly warped instead of being round like they should. I have pictures up on my account. Is there a way to fix this?
