@Fair_Mind make sure you always make both halves of the knots. Each knot consists of two halves. Some patterns like the candystripe will always have a tendency to curl |

I wanted to submit a variation of pattern #45349. however, the message on my screen said it would submit as a pattern I'm a bit confused. (I'm hoping that it won't be my own pattern because I didn't make it)

@Froggyboi6 I think it always says that but I could be wrong. If it gets accepted anyway just message @Admin and he can take it down ☺️

I keep submitting a photo for a braided stitch but it’s always declined, can someone give me the pattern for a normal braided stitch?

@Froggyboi6 as long as the warning on top says "This pattern already exists as #, but can be added as its variation." what you submit will be added as a variation because the generator recognises it as a variation.

@RyanWaters if you click on patterns on the top of the page, then go to added by user on the far left, you can look up the user you want. Hope this helps!

@RyanWaters at the bottom of the page there is a button called "users", you click on it and then you can search for the user by their username. I'm not sure how it is on the app but you should see users on there too somewhere.

this may sound really dumb to all of you guys but i never understood how to do patterns like pattern #18 when you end it, the strings aren't in the same place as the top of the patten, (where you need to repeat it to get to the length that you want.) can someone explain how you do this? do you rearrange the string to fit the top of the pattern again?

@sugarknots this is no dumb question at all! It's actually a quite common question, so you are definitely not alone. When the strings in the end of a pattern are in a different order than they were at the start, once you did the whole pattern you start in row 1 again like you usually would, but you ignore the colours. You don't need to rearrange the strings in any way. You just continue doing the pattern knot by knot, the strings are just in a different order now. |
