I am working on an alpha and I always see people's alphas being nice and flat. But with me my background color is always nice and flat but my other colorsthose that are not my background color always stick out of my alpha. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? 🙂 |

Hi, there's a technique called the flat alpha technique with which you can make alphas less bumpy. If you want to learn how it's done MashaKnots on YouTube has a video on it. It's a slightly different way of changing colours but it has a big effect.

i’d definitely do the flat alpha technique and also make sure you’re using the same kind of string in the whole bracelet, and make sure they are all tied the same tightness!

What i realized is that i was tying my color switches to tight so if you loosen the first knot on your color switch it should become less bumpy.

the flat alpha technique can greatly affect the outcome of your alphas. Masha Knots has a tutorial on her YouTube channel teaching how to do it.
