how big do you guys recommend a loop on a keychain should be??

If you are starting the keychain with a triangle start I would recommend 12-15 knots (fb/bf) it just depends on how big your pattern is. I'm working on #56813 as a keychain and I did a triangle start with 12 BF knots and for me its the perfect length

For the loop, you would knot 12-15 knots in a row just like when starting a bracelet, but when you fold it in half I recommend doing a double triangle start. But you would do 12-15 knots total
