Curled bracelets

Whenever I make bracelets, normal and alphas, they always curl. The sides go up and the middle goes in. Is this bad? And how do I fix it? It happens a lot on alphas with a triangle start and loop.

This usually happened to me when I didn’t tighten my knots enough. This also happened when I used very poorly made string. These are so simple fixes, but if they still don’t work then I would see if any you tubers mention something about this in their videos! I hope this helped😉

@GalaxyPig thanks for the advice. For me it's the opposite. I tie my knots very tight, and I use DMC, which I heard is "The elite string". So I'm torn.

some patterns curl because of the knot structure but not always. Try knotting looser or tighter depending on what you think might be causing your alphas to curl up. Otherwise use a flat iron to flatten and straighten out your bracelet.

by flat iron i meant like the hair straightener but i am sure an actual iron could work too
