I know you can start alpha bracelets w/ triangle ends, is there something similar for normal bracelets? (the bracelet I want to make has an odd number of strings if that makes a difference)

If you go on youtube I believe masha knots has a video on triangle ends for alphas and how to do triangle ends with a normal pattern hope this helps

@Lanno you could still do a regular triangle start (like you would on any other normal bracelet with an even amount of strings). its just that one side is going to have one more string on it, and therefore make it a bit longer than the other side. but there shouldn't be a problem with that...

Is there a way to make a teardrop loop on a none cemetrical bracelet, like you have six strings of pink and six of yellow, so when u make the loop there is three of each color on each side but the pattern calls for all the pink on the left and all the yellow on the right, you can tie a knot to bring the loop together but is threes any other thing to do?

@Lanno you can also do the slope start! I recommend Alex’s innovations video of an in-depth tutorial on how to start and end all bracelets!

@Stepharose yes, you can do that. You cut three pink strings that are double the length and three yellow that are double the length. You fold the pink in half. You pull the yellow through where the pink is folded and also fold it in half. That way the colours are looped around each other and secured. MashaKnots has a video on making a loop with odd numbers of thread in which she explains it.

@halokiwi but don’t u have to slip the strings to do that?

@Stepharose if the amount of strings per colour is even you don't need to split the strings. Only if the amount is uneven you have to split it. MashaKnots explains both in the video I think.
