I personally try to cut it as close to the base strings as I can get. I tie my knots relatively tightly so I haven’t had an incident where the strings slips out, but if you’re worried about that then you can always tie it to another loose string on the back

I usually leave a little bit of string behind, maybe a fourth of an inch just to be safe. The back of an alpha is usually pretty messy and all over the place so I don't really pay attention to it. I'm paranoid about the string coming loose and the bracelet unraveling lol😅

i like to cut it as close to the bracelet itself as possible. i am very nervous that it could come out even though i’ve never had a problem. i usually put a little bit of clear nail polish over the part that i cut just to be safe.

you can also keep it long enough to sew it under the other strings the go criss cross on the back. It will then be long enough to not get loose and secure also.

honestly you can just cut it since it was already been weaved i pretty tightly the knots will stay in place but if you're worried you can always secure it with a knot really close to the bracelet or keychain or put nail polish (clear one) I've heard people using glue and then placing a cloth or piece of scrap fabric covering the whole back so no one can see it |

i cut my string as close to the base strings/ actual bracelet that i can. i was pretty afraid to do that with my first alpha because i didn’t want to ruin it, but since you had already made knots with the thread it won’t break. i’ve been cutting it super close to the base strings now and it’s never gotten ruined even when i wash them 🌙🕸🍁

i think about about how long i want my bracelet/keychain/creation to be and then add a few inches onto that to be safe. and then i think about how long i want my ties to be. i kind of measure that out in my head and then cut however long i think it should be.

I cut mine as close to the bracelet I can and if you want to make sure that they are secure you can add clear Nail polish. But I want to warn you if you put the clear nail polish on the bracelet it might hurt to wear because it will scratch you
