Why is moderating super slow right now?

I'm confused. I have had patterns sitting for almost a week and my photos get accepted within minutes! Its really weird. 🙁 Please help.

Maybe the mods are just preferring photos more than patterns?

well not as many photos are submitted as patterns that means the photos take not as much time to get through. Considering that the mods also have their own life and we all live in different time zones also factors in. But sometimes more patterns will be submitted than at other times so the wait might be shorter or longer. Idk anyways my point is photos are submitted much less meaning they are easy and quick to get through but that is just my guess 😂

There's a huge amount of patterns to be reviewed currently. How fast we are with reviewing depends mainly on the amount of things that needs to be reviewed, how much free time we have for reviewing and how active users are.It's not that we prefer photos but photos are faster to accept and for example when someone participates in a challenge it also needs to be accepted faster. Another thing is forum posts and comments. It's important to get them down as fast as possible in case there are any fights going on or users are saying inappropriate things. |

i am not a moderator but the moderators that are on braceletbook might just have busy lives. they could be in college, grad school, or working so they can make a living for themselves. also i have learned that patterns take a long time to accept based on the ones i’ve submitted. i am guessing it is a long process and they need to review every little detail of the pattern to make sure there is nothing that needs to be fixed.
