How to keep the knot straight in alpha pattern

Hi everyone ❤️I'm new (like just found out about this last week new) and I'm trying out some alpha pattern. I noticed that my knots are skewed (forward knots to the right and backward knots to the left). I saw so many other users have their knots straight which makes the pattern looks 100 times better. Is there a way to do so? |

It takes a lot of practice for your all your knots to look the same. Practicing both forward and backward knots on patterns like chevrons is super helpful. One is reason your alphas might not be straight though is if you’re not using a straight edge technique. Masha knots has a really good video on her channel about flat alphas and straight edges.

Thanks for the reply! I saw her video and it was super helpful!! I was not talking about the edge but the knots in between though. But I guess I will need more practice 😎 |
