So this technically isn’t a tear drop loop. I’m really bad an explaining this through text so I’m not gonna be able to help you. However, this video should https://youtu.be/N6-KQDLeKik

I think it might actually be a teardrop loop but just a little modified and more squished, I don't really know how to describe it any other way. Here's the closest youtube video I could find: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX0HrQ22D-I&t=3s&ab_channel=Knotyouraveragebracelet |

Hi, this is basically a loop with two triangle ends but instead of using the alpha technique to make the triangles you use the normal pattern technique. After you did your two normal triangle ends you start knotting your alpha like you usually would.

it actually is made the same as masha's alpha teardrop loop videao, claire actually links that video in her techniques story. the reason that claire's triangles look more wide is because of the way she knots. its kind of hard to explain, bit when you start a bracelet (with a triangle end), a lot of times the rows are more vertical than horizontal, making the triangles taller. claire is a very advanced knotter, and when she makes triangle ends, she is able to avoid it. this post of hers shows the difference, one is an old bracelet of hers, and one is a bracelet she made somewhat recentlyhttps://www.instagram.com/p/CDuFcLehBr4/?igshid=q6x2yw2r0daz I don't think theres any sort of trick to getting them to look the right way, just practice. hope this helps. |
