questions asked often: why does my candy stripe curl? : It's not your fault. Everyone's candy stripe will curl, an there is pretty much nothing you can do 🙁 why does my background color poke through with my knots? : it will happen if you pull the knot too tight on occasions, all you have to do is pull the color that is sticking through and it will pop right back 😊 |

Hi, I have a question, not about making the bracelets but about the notifications on Braceletbook. When I go to my notifications tab, it says that I have no new notifications, but I had some before and now I can't find them. I created a pattern that did not get accepted into the sight, but I was still using the pattern to just make it for myself. Is there any way I can see past notifications so I can finish my bracelet?

@Horse_Love to see declined patterns you can go to the generator and you'll find the pattern there. You don't have to take the step over the notifications. Seeing patterns in the generator is only possible on the website, not the app.And yes, after a while (I don't know how long) notifications will disappear. |

How long do the threads have to be for an alpha bracelet (the bracelet has 70 Numbers by the side and 14 strings)?

I'm sorry that I'm replying to this. I know I'm not the person who made the thread.@TheJMP for an alpha pattern the length of the basestrings needs to be the length of the bracelet plus some extra for the ties. I think 70 rows are a little shorter than the size of your wrist. I once made one that's 85 rows and it was the perfect size. Another way you can find out the length this will be is if you have ever made an alpha bracelet. You measure how long a certain amount of rows is and then calculate how long 70 rows are. |

I don't know how to add string to alphas to like the base, i watched tutorials, but they don't make sense and I am ending up with the same result.

It's very hard to actually add strings to an alpha but basically what you do is stop knotting somewhere in the middle almost, and tape a string down, pull a knot onto it with your leading string and just continue knotting, i really hope this helps idk how well i explained it
