how on earth do i keep my edges straight on alphas? all the tutorials i’ve watched explain it but never actually show it !!

Can try to watch masha knot’s straight edges technique, I find it very useful! Basically for every knot at the end do forward-backward knots or backward-forward knots instead of just forward and backward knots. Also, try to make the knots where you have to switch colours in alphas tighter and the ones that don’t looser (if this makes sense?), so that the overall width of the bracelet is uniform. That contributes to bracelet straightness too. Hope this helps ❤️

I made a couple of patterns and after a minute or two it says that my pattern has been created, but I can't find it anywhere. It isn't in my profile, I tried to type the keywords but it isn't showing any of my patterns and I typed in my username and it say "there are no patterns to be shown". PLEASE HELP!

@Kay12 it takes a while for patterns to be accepted. when you submit them they then go to the moderators to get accepted and made into patterns. if they get accepted you can find them on the site but if the get declined there will probably be a few things for you to change in the pattern and then resubmit. i hope this helped!

@mmsthread what mint cookie said is exactly what i would have said. the only thing i might add is using a ruler to push in the sides. it takes a lot of practice and experimenting with different methods to see what works for you!

@danielle_3 i wouldn’t get any that are unusually thick or thin but it doesn’t matter too much. you will be able to tie your base strings around them no matter what.

@aashni i’ve never personally had this problem but do you tie a knot at the end of each tie? that keeps them from coming undone.

@aashni #50267 or #38672 are both great! but really anything with only two colors and that isn’t over 15 strings would be good!
