every time i make alphas, the image that comes out usually looks wonky and stretched because of how my knots look more like rectangles even though i make them really taught. how do i fix this so they look better?

try practicing your knots, but I think this is pretty normal as long as you don't have holes. always try pulling all the way up when making a knot

I’d try making sure u pull the strings rlly tight when your switching strings!

I highly recommend pushing up your rows with a ruler to make them straighter and also to keep the end result from looking so stretched. But, I think this is a pretty normal problem that will probably still happen no matter how good you get at alphas.
