I've made alpha's before (Less then 16 strings) and they never curved before. It's like it's becoming a circle, when the rest of mine never did this. I'm only really making this post because it looks like I skipped knots on the end sides, when I know for sure I didn't.Is this normal? Is it my knot tension? Any help is helpful 😊 😊 😊 |

i used to have this issue a lot. it's just a knot tension thing. if you just practice it will help it straighten out 😊

Yeah, it is just your knot tension.I would recommend the straight edges technique and make sure that your knots are the same tension. Just make sure the knots are as close in size as possible so that your bracelet will stay straight. 😄 |

one side of your bracelet may be made with tighter knots compared to the other half like maybe you knot more intensely on the right or left then on the right or left you knot more loosely

I am not really sure how to help you; I would just use a hair straightener

im not sure what the actual bracelet looks like but it could be your knot tension. Maybe you are pulling too tight. 🤔

i didn't know this was possible until i started making alphas but maybe you're pulling your knots too tight. try and loosen them a little bit. i'd also recommend trying some smaller alphas and then progressively make ones with more strings and see how many base strings you're most comfortable working with.

I think had this problem for the #8075 (or #8057 ) I think treble clef. It was curling in on itself and wouldn’t lay flat. I stuck it under a heavy piece of furniture while I wasn’t working on it. It flattened a lot.
