should my knots be tight or loose for alpha bracelets?

If you are doing the flat alpha technic (via Masha Knots’s tutorial), tie your knots looser but when you put the old string into the new one as shown in the video, tie that knot tighter.

I always make my knots looser, as it not only provides a look I like better, but it also doesn’t make my hands hurt as much! As Jdog said make your knots tighter when you incorporate a different string into the knot. What really matters is keeping the same knot tension throughout!

Usually I only apply a little bit of tension to my knots but not too much.

it depends. if you want your alpha to be a bit bigger, make your knots looser because they take up more space. if not, than just make tight knots, personally I think tight knots look more professional but I would just look at your normal patterns and do whatever you usually dohope this helps -vsco_love 😘 |
