Why do my chevrons always have holes?

Hi! So I have this problem. I am a very tight knotter and any time I do a chevron, distorted chevron etc, there's always holes between the knots. This is a little frustrating since none of my other bracelets looks like this. If anyone has a solution I am all ears!! Please let me know if anyone else has this problem. Thanks guys! 🙂

I used to kind of have the same problem, but I found that I just needed to tie the first knot tighter, as that is the one that places the knot. Good luck! 😊

It’s just because when you make the second half of the knot the first half slips and becomes loose I have done that before even though I make tight knots and so I just hold the first half of the knot tightly while I make the second Half to prevent that
