To start a bookmark alpha I just lay out all my base strings on my desk, then put a few pieces of tape over the strings horizontally. idk if that's what you're asking or if that helped 🙂

You can’t do it on the bottom but I did make another video on how to do the flat part on the bottom as well. I don’t own a tripod so it was all using photos and voiceovers. Check it out if you want

Bookmark alphas are so awesome to make them to give as presents or gifts especially for big readers also how to make them straighter just keep taping it down as you go so not much of the bracelet is exposed hope this helped💜💜💜
