Alpha bracelets take longer if you have different colors of string more than two. But depending on the pattern of the normal bracelet these usually take the longest for me.

For me alphas. Mostly because tthey are usually pretty complex, unless is a keychain or a brooch.

I definitely find alphas harder. They used to be quick as 1, 2, 3 for me, but then I got out of practice and now I'm like..."How on earth did I do these so quickly back then?"

I agree with Mermaid12. I hardly ever finish normal patterns. I have done several alpha patterns in a day.

Normal patterns takes weeks to finish, especially thicker ones. I can finish alpha patterns in about 1-5 day

Alphas with more colors take a lot longer because I have to transition every time I have a new color whereas I just have to switch strings in normal bracelets

for me it's normal because I like how alphas are set up better so I work more on them than when I am working on a normal
