So, whenever I try creating alphas from an image, it comes out all these super grey colors. how do you create your alpha's?

@BronwynB making an alpha from an image takes some time! if what you mean is the alpha turns out blurry and the background isn’t the colour you want, you have to tweak it yourself. what i mean by that is you have to “clear up” the pattern by clearing out any unnecessary pixels if that makes sense?

@BronwynB and usually the background is a whole different shades of white (or whatever background colour you choose), so just make sure that each pixel is the same colour / shade : ) i hope this helped!

hi, So i am trying to learn how to make a friendship bracelets and i am a beginner I still did not buy the threads cause i knew that there are types of threads and am trying to figure out what types to thread should i use to make the friendship bracelet. There are 2 types of thread i know right now (embroidery floss) and (craft thread) and what I know till now that craft thread is twisted by two strands and easy to make bracelets with and Embroidery floss is 6 strands together and it can be difficult to make and it can easily break I actually have two question What is prism thread, is it a type of brand for making bracelet like dmc, or a type of bracelet? Which is better and which is smoother to use embroidery floss or craft thread? Why? |

@janjooni hi! so ever since i started making bracelets, i’ve always used DMC thread! that is an embroidery thread and i find it works amazing! it’s soft and i’ve NEVER has it snap! i’ve never used craft cord or any other kinds of thread so yea haha. but in my opinion, DMC is the best! it is a little pricey compared to the other types but i’ve never had a problem with it! i have also used amazon thread, from a brand called SOLEDI, which is super soft and affordable thread (they come in big packages, like not just a few single threads). i hope this helped! 🥰
