Hi! i’ve done the straight edge technique before but only when it is built into the pattern. How do you do it when let’s say there is a backward knot with two diff color string on the left side of your bracelet. how am i supposed to do a fb/bf knot if my string is supposed to move like a b knot? i’m sorry if i’m dumb i just don’t understand haha

Basically, all you have to do is add a string to each side (it can be any color as it will only be knotted onto). Then, you knot the pattern as you would normally, and when you get to the edge, do a forward-backward knot (if on the right) or a backward-forward knot (if on the left). Hope this helps a little 😄

1. You can add two extra thread on two sides to be knotted on by fb and bf knots or 2. try to control your tension, and practice to make each knot position at the middle of the knots before it. |

i am glad you asked this 😜. First you are gonna ad two extra strings to go on both of the outsides of the bracelet ( you wont make any knots with this string). next you are gonna do forward backward or backward forward knots when their is NO KNOT on the edge (the little sticky outy bits n the outside). Hope this helped a little bit
