Hey guys, so I’m new to making bracelets that have more than like 8 strings and I’m so confused on what kind of knotting you would do to start off the bracelet if that makes sense? Like I’m just confused if you just do one big knot and then start the pattern or if there is a better method to starting them off?

You can do a loop or triangle ends but there are many starts and ends out there

You can leave 30-40 cm of string at the start, then tie a BIG knot, put it on the clipboard, arrange the starting thread positions and start knotting.Once you think the bracelet is long enough. untie the big knot, reverse the pattern and start knotting back a triangle end. This technique can be used with any string number |

You could do a triangle start, or two triangle starts, or you could do a teardrop loop. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube
