HELP NEEDED! Segment Knotting tutorial explained somehow?

hi there. i just started making bracelets about 6 months ago and i would like to start getting to know some new patterns. i heard that there are two ways of knotting, called horizontal and segment knotting. i tried both and i havent had any luck with segment knotting, so i wanted to ask if someone could explain how you do it? any help would be much appreciated 🙂thanks 🙂 |

Segment knotting is all about seeing the patterns of the strings and how they move in a bracelet. I would definitely watch Masha Knot's tutorial on segment knotting. I feel like segment knotting isn't something you can learn just by someone teaching you. I think that you need to practice it over and over and get yourself used to seeing how the strings interact in a pattern. I hope this makes sense😅

definitely watch Masha Knots videos on it and when you do try it, use a simpler pattern! For my first time segment knotting I followed this video tutorial https://youtu.be/tZyQWJhlyX4After I made my first bracelet with segment knotting it was pretty easy to figure it out with other patterns! But I definitely recommend making a bracelet that has a video tutorial on how to segment knot it! Happy knotting 😊 |
