can someone explain to me how to make a loop for pattern 23161. I always do loops so i’m familiar with them but for this pattern i need all the light blue on one side and all the dark blues on the other side, so when i made the teardrop part it doesn’t work because i have half the dark blues on one side and the other half on the other side etc does that make sense?

You can just do a normal teardrop loop. Just on the left side you make knots with the dark blue thread (or light blue) and on the right side you make knots with the light blue thread (or dark blue thread). I know this confusing but, I hope this helps! 🙂

For this you would have to join the threads together. Masha knots has a video on doing a teardrop loop with a odd number of threads in the video she explains how to join the threads together. I hope this helps! 🙂

If the number of string of both colours are an even amount you can fold one colour in half and pull the string of the other colour through where they are folded in half and fold them as well.
