Focus on not really pulling. Put less pressure and your knots should become looser but, it takes practice so don't be discouraged! I hope this helps! 🙂

Personally, I take my time if I want looser knots. So rather than going really fast (which can result in tighter knots) you should try going slow, or be more gentle when pulling the string together!

i would just recommend making your knots tight enough that there are no holes, but not so tight the bracelet is too stiff or folds. release some of the string tension and take it slow. good luck 🌙🌩💫

I pull my knots in a different way. I kind of pull up... if that makes any sense.... 😂

Try to loosen your tension by not pulling the strings as tight. 👍

Make sure to keep the first half of the knot tight And the make second half loose. I would recommend making a simple chevron and just experiment with different tightnesses until you find something you like and then you can make another focusing on that tightness. When you do the practice chevron I would recommend picking colors you don’t like so you don’t waste good colors. Hope that helps 😁

To make your knots looser, don’t pull so hard on your knot; make the first half of the knot looser but pull on the second knot a little tighter to secure it.

Everyone seems to have good suggestions here! I’ve noticed that different brands and types of strings make different knot sizes! I am curious as to what you use @CookyKnots

I would experiment with different string brands, go slower when knotting, and dont pull as tight wheb knotting. Hope this helps!

i would recommend just thinking about every knot and remembering that you don’t want to pull them too tightly. this helps me, so i hope it can help you as well!

Focus on doing the knot then not trying to pull to make sure it’s right just trust yourself that the knot is already good

Try not to pull the knot too tight that should do it. Happy knotting! 🙂

A lot of people knot tighter and looser which makes the bracelet more stiff or more malleable. My bracelets can move but they are also well knotted. I make sure the straight string/base string is tight but my right hand pulls up with some pressure but not that much. Honestly, you have to get a feel for it and stay the same throughout your bracelet otherwise it might be lopsided.Good luck! |
