what does it mean when an alpha has space between lines?

When you make an alpha and the colour changes you have to do a colour switch. I’m not sure what you mean by spaces though as that pattern looks like most alpha patterns

The space basically just means that you switch colours there like normal, it only shows up that way because of the colour placement. No need to do anything differently 😉

@2006_Mandy The color on the base string doesn't continue only the knot does. After the light blue there's a tiny gap (Four knots in) Does it mean anything? Thanks for replying |

Yeah you have to switch colours you are not using the same base string thread to knot. You need to have a leading string and switch colours so that each new colour becomes the leading string
