How do you change colour on the edge of a alpha

Hi im really struggling on changing my colour on the edge and everytime i do it comes out weird and doesn't look right. tysm if you answer my question it would be gratefully appreciated

always do the regular color switching method when changing colors on the edge of an alpha, not the flat alpha method. that will ensure that there isn’t a bit of string poking out the side of your alpha. just be careful of your knot tension and adjust your knot as needed. if you check out my written tutorial on bracelet book “how to make color switches in an alpha,” i explain it further. hope that helps! 🙂

It helps if you do the straight edges technique. When you do a bf or fb knot at the end of a row, the string isn’t sticking out the side and is easier to conceal when you cut it. Then inserts the next string that you want, same way you normally would.
