What methods should I use in order to keep all my bracelets straight? I certainly try to knot the sides backward then forward for the left side and forward then back for when knotting on the last string on the right side. However, it changes the order of the strings. Hence I wanted to search for a way which can avoid that issue.

I've written a tutorial on the straight edges technique that you can check out. For some patterns (which patterns is explained in the tutorial) you need to add an extra string on either side in order to not affect your pattern.https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/101_the-straight-edges-technique/ |

When you do a backwards forward or forwards backward knot on the end of that row, repeat that same knots again to start the next row. This will create the last knot of the previous row and the first knot on the new row. If you do this correctly your leading string should now be facing the inside of your bracelet and you’ll be able to continue the rest of the row. Hope this isn’t too confusing and makes sense!👍
