hi! i’m currently working on an alpha using the flat alpha technique! however when i do a color change on the second to last base string and use that color again, the dragging of the string is visible on the edges. i don’t know how to explain it! is there a way to prevent this? thanks!

Hi, yes, there's a way to prevent this. Instead of doing the flat alpha colour switch you do the regular colour switch at the edge.

Hi! Like @halokiwi said, just do it normally 🙂. @arf820 has a tutorial on switching colors too...
