@iyamayam it shouldn’t! it just may look a little bit thinner if you use one type of sting but that’s it. i wouldn’t reccomend using them in alphas unless they are your base stings though because that won’t turn out good

It depends on how different the threads are if they are not to different, it might juts be fine. But if the threads are way different then your knots will come out all wonky and trust me I've used different brand threads in one bracelet and it did not look neat.

i don’t find that it matters much. Just so long as they have the same number of strands in each thread it doesn’t matter

For normals it shouldn't matter too much however for alphas it is ideal to use thread that is of a similar thickness so it doesn't turn out wonky

as long as the strings are the same thickness then it shouldn’t be a problem. if one is thinner than the others, the knots could turn out weird. 🎠💌🎡🍓

Not at all, I do suggest making sure they are the same thickness and you arent mixing craft coord with regular embroidery floss

It depends. Some string is thicker than others and can lead to wonky patterns, so I suggest using string of similar size and thickness

i actually just made an alpha with two diff brands and it turned out fine, but i still would recommend using the same brand and if u use two diff brands make sure the thickness is the same

For me I have used craft cord and embroidery floss on the same bracelet and I find it doesn’t effect the bracelet quality on normal patterns. So I’d recommend not doing different types of string on alphas : )

It can make your bracelet look a bit uneven and it can make it crooked in alphas. You should use the same types of thread branding especially for alphas. It doesnt matter as much for normals though!
