Yeah but don’t mix that with thicker strings unless one is your base string and the other is knotting string

Maybe if you used it as the base strings? Personally, I find it quite difficult to know with nylon thread, but if you’ve done it before and are comfortable with using it, then I say go for it! But as the person before me mentioned, mixing them as working strings would probably ruin the alpha pattern.
