What counts as spam?

I was trying to post a new topic in the App & Site section and it kept saying SPAM and not letting me submit it. After playing around with it, I realized that I couldn't post links or use (-). Are there other things that might make the website recognize unspammy messages as SPAM? I'm just curious for future reference. Thanks ๐

I think someone said that pictures count as spam and I had a question I really needed to be answered so I made up a dumb title, unicorn eating bacon so that lots of people would read it and answer my question. So pictures and creative titles that don't relate to your question count as spam.
