how to segment knot #25381

I was wondering how you could segment knot #25381. I understand what segment knotting is and I just don't how to segment knot a pattern like that. Have a lovely day xx 😄

Because that pattern is a zig-zag pattern, you should do one segment of the pattern so it looks like a candy stripe the reverse it so it should look like a zig zag. Then continue!

I’m not to fond of normal patterns, but what I might do is start your pattern “backwards.” So instead having your first knot be from string A to string B, I would start with the forward knot on string E to string E. Then moving backwards again, I would knot string C to string D then string C to string E and C to E again. Then you would repeat with all the strings (with forward knots) remembering to follow the direction of the knots. You stop knotting when you finish the fb knots. Then when you finish moving backwards, you have to move forward again to complete the backward knots. Hopefully you can understand what I’m trying to say? Hope fully this helps!
