New to segment knotting and have some Questions

I’m new to segment knotting sort of, i can segment knot and patterns with diamonds or really any clear shaped ones, I’ve segment knoted a starburst. But, there are some patterns I can’t figure out how to segment knot for example pattern #43509, so my question is: is segment knotting possible on all patterns? also should i stick to normal knotting for #43509 or is there a way to segment knot or??

not all patterns are easy to segment knot unfortunately since colors and designs can switch. However the pattern 43509 can be segment knotted you can focus on the background and then work on the details then go back to the background if that makes sense

I would knot that pattern segmently, because I believe it´s much more difficult then. As you already mentioned segment knotting is more helpful with knotting diamonds or even starburst ones.

I think #43509 is fine to segment knot. Every pattern can be segment knotted in some way it’s just that some are harder than others for example, 1,2 1,2 patterns are almost impossible to segment knot and would normally be down row by row. Hopefully this makes sense! 😊

I never learned segment knotting, I just basically figured it out. I know that's not helpful, but I segment knotted #40777 and it was really fun! There is also a good tutorial on how to do shaped bracelets if you don't know how, based on this bracelet. #33577 is also fairly easy to segment knot!

not all patterns are easy to segment knot, as annoying as that is 🙁 i just look for V shapes in the pattern. patterns that are "harder" to segment knot will have less, and smaller V's and stripes you can make. a pattern i like that is easy to segment knot is #29527 🙂
