Hi! I recommend making a rag rug because that can get you into the habit of adding in colors : )

rag rugs dont need a color switch thoug h i would do a two or three color alpha to limit your color switches just to start out 😇

For your first alpha, I do highly recommend pattern #25493 but the rag rug is just as good. 😊

Yes, rag rugs are a good starting point! I also think pattern #4847 is great for beginners since there are only two colors. Before you start this pattern i would watch a few tutorials to get a better sense of switching colors. Hope this helps!
