That happens to me sometimes too. I find it’s mostly because some of my rows of knots are tied tighter than others if that makes sense... the tighter you tie a knot, the smaller it’ll be. Therefore, if you tie lots and lots of tight knots, then lots of looser ones, you’ll end up having an uneven bracelet. So just be mindful of how tight you’re tying your knots! This gets better with practice too, so don’t give up 👍👍

i've had the same issue and masha knots made a video about something similar! if you tie your knots a little bit looser for the background and tighter for the pattern/color switches then it ends up equalling out to a more even bracelet!

Maybe try tying your knots the same size each time but another reason might be because you're using different sizes of string. I also recommend using the straight edges technique (backward-forward knots on the right side and forward-backward knot on the left side, Masha Knots has an in-depth video on this topic). Hope this helps! 😊

That happens because of uneven knot tension. It takes a little practice to have your bracelets completely even. Maybe making your knots looser might help. While knotting a new string in make the knots a little tighter so that the knots you make with the new leading string stand out and be bigger than the other knots. Hope this helps!! 😊

Don’t stand out and be bigger than the other knots*

Try loosening your knots, use the same type of thread and use the straight edges technique. Hope this helps!

Make sure the tension on all of your knots are equal! Some of them you might have pulled tighter or looser which causes it to go wonky... hope this helps 🙂
