hi! so i want to start making alpha bracelets, and ive watched the masha knots tutorial on alphas (both of them lol) and i feel like i have a good handle on the basics, but im curious-
how long should i cut my base strings? im assuming it varies depending on the alpha i do but im just confused. thanks for your help 🙂

I cut my strings 2 times the size of my wrist enough for 2 ties the bracelet and a bit more normally. Also start with a 2 colour alpha that doesn’t have too many colour switches

@aninamous I made my first two alphas like 30 min age! I loved the patterns that I did. They are really good and easy. They also help with working on the color switch. The numbers for the patterns are #26653 and #22707.

If it’s a bracelet, cut the base strings the size of your wrist plus a couple inches for the ties, Hope this helps!

Cut the base strings as long as you want the bracelet with ties. I like to keep the background color and all colors used on bobbins instead of cutting the string. Hope this helps😊

Hey! So I’m new to alpha bracelets and I noticed that my knots weren’t straight so the pattern looks distorted. Any advice? Thanks <3

I cut my string three times the size of my wrist, so that the bracelet and ties are of the same length. Hope this helps 🙂
