Forum - Newbies - adding topics to forums idea?

I have only just ranked up to newbie+ enabling me to use the forum. There were so many questions I wanted to ask as a newbie but couldn't as I didn't have access to the forum. I think it would b helpful if the forum was open to everyone🙂

I think there's a reason that Newbies can't post in the forums. Everybody who logs into the site starts as a Newbie. If everybody who logged in could automatically use the forum, some people could create an account JUST to spam the forum. I think the admins want users to prove that they're here to use the site and the forum as intended. Personally I think it adds to the experience of using this site.

When i was a Newbie, i was definitely frustrated to learn that i couldn't ask/answer questions, but newbies can still read topics in forums, which should let them find what they need. There is also the FAQ on the bottom of the page that answers a lot of common questions that Newbies might have.
