I want to make a normal pattern but I don't know how to change the dimensions. How do you do that? I know that in alphas you can go to draw alpha and change it but how do you do that with a normal pattern?

You have to type each row. You can type any umber of rows and make the pattern as big as you want

To change the demensions on a patterns in the generator, all you have to do is add two knots to the row. After clicking save and test the demensions should change.I really hope this helps and if you need any other suggestions, or help please feel free to message me. (If you respond via this post please put my username in it so I am able to see it and respond faster!) @EBPacker2 😊 |

To make the pattern wider, add more letters to the “colors order” box and make sure you add knots to your rows accordingly. To make the pattern longer, just type more rows😊

How do you make the rows shorter for an alpha on this site?

@leannaelliWhen you're editing your alpha go to the tab "Alpha" in the tabs up top that say "Alpha | Draw alpha | Write alpha | Alpha from image | Alpha from font". Then, there should be a box called "Knots" directly below those tabs. In that box, there's an ASCII-equivalent of your pattern. If you delete one of the rows of characters in that box, your pattern should shrink by one column, making all your rows shorter. |

@IndyHaine there is a way that is a little easier than the one described by you. Your way works perfectly fine, but might not really be beginner friendly for someone who is new to braceletbook (or at least new to designing patterns). @leannaelli go to "draw alpha". There you see + and - on each edge of the pattern. You can click those to add and remove rows and columns. This only works for patterns that you are designing yourself. This does not work on a pattern that is already posted. |
