My bracelets always look messy

Hey! So my braclets always look bumpy or slanted with holes and Im not sure what i'm doing wrong. Im currently making a simple chevron and it just looks bumpy on the edges. I do all the knots properly however that end result looks messy. Any advice?

Having messy bracelets is completely normal if you're just starting out. I would suggest just continuing to practice your bracelets, and try playing around with your knot tension. Make one where you tie your knots tighter, make one where you tie them looser, eventually you'll find what works best for you. Just make sure that when you tie the first half of your knot you tie it really snug so that there are no holes, then when you tie the second half you can make it more slack. If your edges don't improve with practice you can always try the straight edges technique, Masha Knots has a great tutorial for that on her youtube channel!

hello folks, I have a question and whenever I want to make an alpha, I always have problems bringing in a different color. do you have any tips? In addition, holes always appear on the edge if the thinner question was also in the same place on the edge. Can you help me? Please Annika

@kajahrbdkd for bringing in colors I usually tape down the new string behind the bracelet and know like it’s always been there. As for the holes on the edges maybe try the straight edge alpha technique and the flat alpha technique. (Masha knots on YouTube has tutorials for all of the things I have just mentioned. I use her tutorials all the time. They are super great and helpful!) hope this helped✨😊✨

try to work on your knots.....also it takes time and practice to get your bracelets to look how you would like
