Have you made an alpha before? If you haven’t, I highly recommend Masha Knots’ YouTube video called “Flat alpha bracelets”

yes i made a few alpha before with wax thread, and i would like thy with cotton thread

I think the cotton thread would work the same as the wax thread, so the way to add in the black string should be the same as what you’ve done before. As people have said above, masha knots’s vidéo on YouTube on flat alphas will help a lot! She explains how to add in new colors/threads
