How to add someone as a friend?

I’m kind of a newbie and I know you can friend people on this app but I don’t know how. Can someone please help me?

All you do is go to a users profile and there is a button to add friend on their profile then a request is sent

Yep. There’s an orange “add as friend” button on the bottom of the profile picture on everyone’s account. When you tap it it’ll send a friend request which if you have notifications on, it’ll just say “@as_12 wants to be friends with you” or something like that.. I don’t really know off the top of my head. And you can accept or decline, which ever you’re comfortable with. ✨
