hello! so I'd like to make pattern #25054 (AKA the starburst pattern) but I don't know how long to cut my strings. (I typically cut a wingspan and fold it in half but I've only done patterns with 16 strings and less) How long should I cut my strings for a pattern this large?

any help would be much appreciated🙂

I personally would do one wing span, and not fold it in half. That’s what I always do for bigger bracelets, and it works for me!

Here is a tutorial for adding new strings to a normal bracelet in case you run out while you're making it!

I usually do 80 in. (2 meters) and if you are doing a teardrop loop (92 in) and THEN FOLD IN HALF

I recommend using half a wingspan length as a minimum amount of string

Here is a video where she explains how to calculate the length of your string. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_K2iKeoq-A
The first time it is a bit of work to get the nessesarry data but afterwards it is quite helpful and I now can guess more easyly how much I need
