@Susie_02 it does take lots of practice...but make sure to be focused on your knots and it will hopefully get easier! hope this helps! =)

Hello!! I have a question about string length. As in, how the heck do I figure out how long strings should be for a bracelet? I was doing 40 inches for each bracelet which was working great until I learned how to read patterns and started doing more intricate ones and realized some colors were getting real short real fast. So I guess my question is, how do I read a pattern and see which colors should be which length of string? I hope this question makes sense! Thank you in advance <3

@finnbutter I would usually make my string arm length. It usually measures up to be 40 inches or a longer. But just in case probably make your string 50 inches. Try that and see how it goes. And for knowing which colors to cut longer, I look at the pattern at see which sting is making more knots and cut it longer. But if you do know how to add more string , you can just cut the strings the same length and add new string when you see a string running out. I hope this makes scene! I tried my best to explain it as detailed as I can. =)

@MikanKin to create patterns, go to your account and go to create patterns. (you can only make patterns on the website.) But I am trying to figure out how to create them too. What you could do is message people who have created patterns on bracelet book and maybe they could help! =)

@emilyem if you have less base strings then the pattern says, you can add a base string. @Clairaland has a video on that on her youtube channel. If you added a string, put a base string back. and continuing how you would knot with the amount of strings you need. For example, if I needed 15 base strings but I cut 17. I would just put 2 base stings back and knot how I usually would with the right amount of base strings. After your done, just cut off the strings off the back. =) hope this makes scene!
