I set up my own shop this last summer and have learned a few things: take great product shots and try to keep them uniform (I've had a bit of trouble with that recently. A bunch of pics i took came out with a strange reddish tint 🙁 ), add one new listing every week or so (this helps your products come up in searches and are easy to find), renew listings regularly, and try to cater to your customer's needs, whether that means offering custom orders, or just answering questions. Another thing to add if you haven't already: world-wide shipping. This brings your products to a much bigger audience! Hope I could help some 🙂

Have you set up social media accounts for your small business yet? I'm only on Pinterest and Instagram so far, but I'm planning on making a Facebook page as well. Pinterest and Instagram are especially useful for Etsy sellers because so much of what we do is visual. This allows potential customers to see your creative process and extra hobbies too.

I usually charge cheap, but if you notice people charge about 10.00 on average for a really easy bracelet. Good luck!!!
