Ok so Ik how to make a pattern like on the actual braceletbook site but I want to start making patterns from photos. I was wondering how you do it like do you have to draw out the pattern on paper or is there like an app I can download upload a picture and it would like pixalise it for me? If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated! : )Thank you Madeline |

If you mean an alpha there is a photo to alpha pattern generator. But you will have to fix it up after using the draw alpha option because the generator doesn’t perfectly create it.

you hover over your profile pic and then you hit create pattern the click alpha then there should be a lot of options like draw alpha write alpha etc so you can create a pattern from a photo with that option

There is a photo to pattern alpha generator. Most of the time, you will have to tweak the pattern but, certain photos have better results than others. Try experimenting with preserve hard edges and trim image. I hope this helps! 🙂

Most of the time I usually try to shorten down how big the photos gets and I uncheck mark the trim image and I also say do only 2 colors, Then I kind of fix it up and add colors along the way! If you start out with too many colors than too many colors will be similar to each other and then you will have a huge mess! 😜 Hope this helps!

What you would do for that is you go to draw alpha and you figure out where your lines are, you do that in the color you want and then you fix the inside - sry if this dosen't make sense, do your outline then fix up the middle

And most times what happens with me is that I have to submit it over and over again because of tiny mistakes, so it is ok, if you miss something really small! The moderators here are really nice, so don't feel super bad!

@_Shona_ Any alpha with only two colors and no more than 20 base strings is a a good first alpha
