Anyone have any tips about how to organize thread and unfished bracelets? (I can't buy a thread box or plastic bobbins) Currently i have made a ton of paper origami bobbins and have all of them in a large mason jar and a fabric bag

Honestly all of my thread stuff is just thrown into a box 😂 😂 I am the least organized person when it comes to my thread collection.

I have a lot of tiny little drawers were I put all of my thread. I cant really describe it so would you like me to set it as my profile pic? Also i got the organizer from amazon.

Mine are in the plastic boxes and most of them have plastic bobbins. I am pretty organized when it comes to my floss and I every box is different. I keep the packs together and try to keep the brands together.

Maybe superstate them into ziplock bags to seperate colors, different brands, or types of thread 🙂. You can also use an empty shoe box to put your handmade bobbins in if your jar is over flowing. Hope these can be helpful 🙂

I buy black and white in bulk, so I use a large gallon bag to store them in. For my other threads, I keep them in plastic boxes and I wind them onto bobbins

I bought a box at the hardware store that you usually use for screws with lots of small compartments (not sure what it's called). It's really similar to a thread box I think.I put my thread in little balls (like miniature yarn balls) and put threads with similar colours into one compartment. |

I got a wonderful cheap $3 box from dollarama. It was 3 levels and had 6 compartments in each. At first I used plastic bags to hold my threads and wrapped them around cardstock but now I use the container instead of plastic bags. I also got for $2 each 3 containers to sort my bracelets by finished, not finished and other.

But you could also try crochet thread too it comes in bulk amount so much more than embroidery thread skeins. Try looking at dollarama for cheaper options!

I try to keep mine organized whenever I get a new pack of string but I just keep it in a small backpack I have and hope I don’t lose any or get it majorly tangled tbh it’s not the most efficient way of keeping them organized but I’m too lazy to get an actual box to keep them organized lol

if you have some clothes pins lying around, wrap your string around the clothes pins and clip the ends on it.

You could take a shoe box and take some other cardboard and glue it in the box to make compartments. It could help to sell your bracelets, so that you can get plastic bobbins and a thread box.
