When i used to get started at making bracelets i used to make my knots superrrr tight and when i did that my bracelet curved up. then i realized that i was making my knots to tight and i loosened them and now my bracelet have becoming flat. masha knots has a great tutorial on how to make flat alpha bracelets. I am not sure about normal bracelets tho. @2006_Mandy how do you make normal patterns flat? message me privately pls

If you're talking about Normals then like @yaz_zie said loosening your knots (not too lose) will help, but if the bracelet(s) still tend to curl slightly you could also iron them (make sure to lay a fabric over the bracelet). With Alpha's like has been said, there is a 'Flat Alpha Technique' to implement when making colour changes. & MashaKnots has a Tutorial on that to help you. |

There is no flat normal technique but, there is a straight edges technique. @Racoon (Masha knots on youtube) has a video about the straight edges technique. However, there is a flat alpha technique. Again, @Racoon (Masha knots on youtube) has a video about this technique. I hope this helps! 🙂

You can also place a heavy object on your bracelet but, it's best if you use the straight edges technique or the flat alpha technique. I hope this helps! 🙂

Use a flat iron to help straighten it! It will flatten it out or even just iron it

Make sure your knots are consistent and if you want to (I always do) iron your bracelets after you make them! Especially for patterns where they’re a bit uneven to begin with (like non-symmetrical)

I recommend using either tape or a clipboard if you’re not already, and also taping down your bracelet as you go so that you’re not angling it up as you knot. Let me know if that didn’t make sense haha and I’ll explain it in another way
