@daisy0108_ either do what is described for the ending. It should work for the beginning too. Or you can split your strings in half (use 3 strands instead of 6), attach these strings using larks heads knots and use both halfs of the half as thick string as one string.
How do you do it when the strings is not in the wanted order??? I just found the pattern but the tied strings is not in wanted order. What do you guys do?
If you want a more bulkier look to your bracelets, use both of the resulting strings from the lark's head and combine them into one. I'm making a choker for myself and I found that using just one strand didn't stand out very much. Just a thing to consider =)
For anyone who is wondering you might have already figured this out but I think if you want to make it a dog collar you can weave in a d-ring the way masha knots makes a keychain. So I think you would do some rows after doing the larks head knots and then separate a few strings to the side. Then you do the knots you need to do with the strings on the side and put the d-ring on the strings in the middle. Then you just keep doing that and do a few more row by row rows, and then you can segment knot if you want to
awesome! which patterns work the best for this? in the pic you use a pattern with 16? strands (don't mind if I miscounted its too early to use my brains).
