@goldflower ohh that makes sense I think I might try usong hot glue or smth but for now l'll leave it esp bc I prob won't rly wear it. Again, tysm for your help and clarification!
@imastudent I'm glad you figured it out 😊 It's very normal for it to be floppy, it helps to steady it a little bit when you knot the bracelet part after the rose but since you've made twisted ties after the rose you might need to use some glue if you think it might come undone
o nvm i understand now @goldflower 😄 however I finished but my rose is a little unsteady and floppy and it keeps threatening to come undone is that normal
@goldflower at the end when you tie the knot in the pictures it seems to show that it goes on top of the rose is it supposed to be like that? (sorry I'm asking so many questions I'm just rly confused 😭)
@imastudent yes you can follow the pattern by making only the red knots in the pattern. Use the shaped alpha technique on the right edge, and on the left edge where the black knots are just don't make any knots in that space until the pattern tells you to make a red knot. The pictures in step 13-14 might help (sorry it's confusing)
Wow this is such a confusing pattern haha thank you for making a tutorial, but I'm still a little confused. Do you just follow the pattern exactly, making 3 small petals, 3 medium, and 3 big? And if you skip the black knots how does that work?
@EmJay45 the same base strings from the rose are what you use as base strings for the bracelet. After you roll up the rose tie an overhand knot with the base strings (it is quite floppy and unsteady at this point) you could also try pairing the base strings from either side together and tying 6 knots instead of one. Once you start knotting the bracelet it holds itself together much better. You could also glue the knot and cut the extra base strings if you want to make a pin
