@aayuraje cut a base string so long, that you can fold it in half + a little extra string. When folded, you will have 2 base strings for the pattern itself and the loop is the litte extra string. So you will leave the loop stand out and then knot normally the pattern. (I know, so bad explained, but I hope you get a imagination about what I'm talking about...)

if you want to screen shot on Mac the easiest way to do it is to click on command, shift, 4. Then your just have to put your mouse over the area that you want to screen shot and a box will appear, what ever is inside the box his what you have screen shotted.
